Artist Infomation

미셸 들라크루아는 나이브 아트(Naïf Art)의 대표적 작가로서 세계적으로 사랑받는 작가 중 한 명이다. 90대의 작가는 50여 년의 화업에서 그가 태어나고 자란 파리의 모습을 시적이며 환상적으로 묘사해오고 있다. 파리의 설경, 에펠 타워나 고요한 거리를 즐겨 그렸다. 작가는 에꼴 드 보자르(École des Beaux-Arts)에서 수학했으며, 35살에 이르러 나이브 아트 작업들을 선보이기 시작했다. 나이브 아트는 특정 유파가 아닌 일부 작가의 작품 경향을 말할 때 사용되는데, 대부분 평면적이며 구상적인 주제를 다루면서도 단조로우며 장식적인 경향이 있다. 데이비드 호크니(David Hockney, b.1937~)나 루이 비방(Louis Vivin, 1861~1936), 앙리 루소(Henri Rousseau, 1844-1910)의 작품이 나이브 아트의 대표적인 예이다. 미셸 들라크루아의 작품은 나이브 아트의 특징이 반영된 순수한 색채감과 구성으로 보는 이로 하여금 유년 시절을 떠올리게 한다. 들라크루아는 Prix Public (Prix Pro art, morges, Switzerland, 1973), Grand Prix des Amteurs d’Art(Paris, 1976), The Grand Prix Dela Cote d’Azur(Canne, 1976), The Primire Prix de Sept Collines (Rome, 1976)을 포함해 셀 수 없이 많은 상을 받았다. 또한, 파리의 Fond National’ Art에 참여하여, 그 공로로 프랑스 정부로부터 '현대 예술가 작위'를 수여받았다. 그의 작품들은 Musse International d’Art Naif와 Founation Max Fourny in Paris를 비롯해 세계의 여러 개인 박물관에 소장되어 있다.

Objects purchased in online auctions must be collected in person. Shipping may be requested if in-person collection is not possible. Shipping fees will be charged as below.

Additional fees may apply for unique delivery circumstances such as no-elevator (walk-up) buildings, ladder truck requirements, etc.

Parcel delivery is only available for select items at a fee of KRW 5,000 (KRW 10,000 for remote regions or Jeju Island.) Parcel delivery may not be available depending on the weight and value of item(s).
Luxury goods and musical instruments must be collected in person.
For in-person pickups, please contact your specialist by 5 pm of the day before to reserve pickup. (For weekends and holidays, pickup must be reserved by Friday or the last prior business day.)

- Prior appointment is mandatory for in-person collection.

A storage fee of KRW 30,000 per day will be charged for each lot that has not been collected 7 calendar days after purchase, regardless of whether the purchase price has been rendered in full.
