Artist Infomation

1983년 호주 태생의 작가다. 정규 미술교육을 받지 않은 작가이지만 특유의 붓 터치와 색감을 사용하는 천부적인 재능으로 전 세계적으로 큰 사랑을 받고 있다. 국내에서는 23년 3월 아틀리에 아키(ATELIER AKI)에서 첫 전시를 개최한 바 있다. 작가는 토끼와 치타, 돼지, 기린 등의 야생동물을 작가 특유의 붓 터치, 표현, 색감으로 그려낸다. 또한 자신의 삶에서 소재를 선택한다. 정규 미술 교육을 받지 않아서 나올 수 있는 자유분방함이라고 평가받기도 하면서, 본인만의 개성을 앞세워야 하는 현대화단에 걸맞은 아카데믹이라고도 평 받고 있다. 또한 작가는 많은 동물을 그릴 때 동물의 눈을 사람의 눈과 비슷하게 그린다. 이때 그 눈은 자신의 연인, 가족, 친구의 눈에서 영감을 받아왔다고 밝혔다. 이는 미술이라는 것이 멀리 있는 것이 아니라 우리 주변에 늘 있으며 쉽게 접할 수 있는 것이라는 작가의 생각을 보여준다.

Objects purchased in online auctions must be collected in person. Shipping may be requested if in-person collection is not possible. Shipping fees will be charged as below.

Additional fees may apply for unique delivery circumstances such as no-elevator (walk-up) buildings, ladder truck requirements, etc.

Parcel delivery is only available for select items at a fee of KRW 5,000 (KRW 10,000 for remote regions or Jeju Island.) Parcel delivery may not be available depending on the weight and value of item(s).
Luxury goods and musical instruments must be collected in person.
For in-person pickups, please contact your specialist by 5 pm of the day before to reserve pickup. (For weekends and holidays, pickup must be reserved by Friday or the last prior business day.)

- Prior appointment is mandatory for in-person collection.
- Standard passenger vehicles can accommodate artworks up to 90x120cm. Please take the measurements of your vehicle and the artwork into consideration.

Storage

A storage fee of KRW 30,000 per day will be charged for each lot that has not been collected 7 calendar days after purchase, regardless of whether the purchase price has been rendered in full.
