'빛의 화가'로 불리는 방혜자는 생성과 소멸, 우주적 인연과 같은 불교적 사유를 화폭에 옮긴 한국 추상미술 1세대 화가이다. 내면적 성찰과 희로애락은 절제된 감성과 신념을 통해 화면에 나타나며 이는 그에게 정신적 귀의처를 찾는 수행의 과정으로 여겨진다. 작가의 작업은 유년시절 빛에 대한 강렬한 기억으로부터 시작되었으며, 1960년대 벽화, 판화 작업을 통한 서구미술에 대한 경험과 파리 유학 시절 한국 방문은 이후 작업에 큰 영향을 주었다. 존재하는 모든 생명의 아름다움은 그의 작품에서 '빛'으로 새롭게 변주되며 화면 위에 가득 표현된다. 불교의 '인연'이라는 개념에 따라 작품에 표현된 모든 존재는 서로 얽히며 질서와 조화를 이뤄낸다. 더불어 작가는 자신의 작품에 코스모스 즉 우주의 질서를 표현하는 데 있어 화폭과 채색 재료의 물성을 해치지 않는 친환경적 재료를 선택한다. 캔버스는 닥종이와 무직천이며 그 위에 천연 색안료들이 구석구석 담백하게 스며드는 것이다. 이처럼 작품을 통해 작가의 내면세계와 우주적 질서는 <우주의 진동>, <하늘과 땅에서>, <빛의 탄생>, <대지의 빛>, <우주의 숨결>, <자연의 숨결> 시리즈와 같이 빛의 서사로서 표현된다.

Objects purchased in online auctions must be collected in person. Shipping may be requested if in-person collection is not possible. Shipping fees will be charged as below.

Additional fees may apply for unique delivery circumstances such as no-elevator (walk-up) buildings, ladder truck requirements, etc.

Parcel delivery is only available for select items at a fee of KRW 5,000 (KRW 10,000 for remote regions or Jeju Island.) Parcel delivery may not be available depending on the weight and value of item(s).
Luxury goods and musical instruments must be collected in person.
For in-person pickups, please contact your specialist by 5 pm of the day before to reserve pickup. (For weekends and holidays, pickup must be reserved by Friday or the last prior business day.)

- Prior appointment is mandatory for in-person collection.

A storage fee of KRW 30,000 per day will be charged for each lot that has not been collected 7 calendar days after purchase, regardless of whether the purchase price has been rendered in full.
