Artist Infomation

그의 작업은 색과 선이 조화를 이루고 있다. 다루기 힘든 세선(細線)을 거뜬히 소화해내고 있다. 이런 선이 서예에서 유래되었는지 드로잉에서 유래되었는지 알 수 없지만, 분명한 것은 그의 선 놀림이 유려할 뿐 아니라 율동적이라는 점이다. 추상 회화처럼 선이 독자적인 의미를 갖지는 않지만, 선은 그의 작품에서 중요한 조형 인자로서 자리한다. 그러나 선 자체로 작품이 완성되는 것은 아니다. 선 곁에는 색이 그림자처럼 따라 다니고, 색과 어울려서 한 점의 환상적인 그림이 탄생된다.장 교수는 대학 시절인 1971년 ‘대학미전’에서 대상을 받은 ‘환상’이 청와대에 걸리기도 하고, 국전 특선 4회, 제28회 국전 문화공보부 장관상을 받는 등 상복도 많아 수집가들에게 인기 있던 작가였다. 이주헌 미술 평론가는 “요즘처럼 인터넷이 발달하지도 않아 한국 화단이 세계 화단과 고립된 시대에 미학적 성취를 이룬 화가 중 한 사람”이라고 평가한다. 한남대 김홍범 교수는 “화가 장순업 선생은 곤지암의 작업 공간에서 느끼는 자연의 작은 소리, 미세한 움직임, 시간의 흐름에 따른 빛의 변화를 놓치지 않고 화폭에 묘사해 내려는 치열한 작가”라고 평하기도 하였다.

Objects purchased in online auctions must be collected in person. Shipping may be requested if in-person collection is not possible. Shipping fees will be charged as below.

Additional fees may apply for unique delivery circumstances such as no-elevator (walk-up) buildings, ladder truck requirements, etc.

Parcel delivery is only available for select items at a fee of KRW 5,000 (KRW 10,000 for remote regions or Jeju Island.) Parcel delivery may not be available depending on the weight and value of item(s).
Luxury goods and musical instruments must be collected in person.
For in-person pickups, please contact your specialist by 5 pm of the day before to reserve pickup. (For weekends and holidays, pickup must be reserved by Friday or the last prior business day.)

Storage

A storage fee of KRW 30,000 per day will be charged for each lot that has not been collected 7 calendar days after purchase, regardless of whether the purchase price has been rendered in full.
