Artist Infomation

육건우는 패브릭을 주요 소재로, 심리적 추상을 이미지화하는 설치미술가이다. 그는 주로 천연섬유와 젯소를 사용하여 평면 위 레이아웃을 구성하고 백색의 다양한 주름을 변주시키는 작업을 한다. 작가는 'INTENSION', 'TENSION', 'BEYOND', 'LAYER UPON LAYER' 와 같은 네 가지 주제를 통해 작가 본연의 심리를 묘사하는 작업을 추구한다. 최근, 순수 백색 컬러를 사용한 작업 이외에도 다양한 컬러를 활용하여 다각적인 심리묘사를 꾀하고 있다.

"미약하게 남은 청력이지만 끊임없이 수많은 시련을 견디며 삶의 일상의 작은 자극도 나에겐 큰 파동처럼 느껴질 만큼 매일의 긴장과 안도감 속에서 살아가고 있다. 극으로 치닫는 감정과 그 사이사이 느껴지는 다양한 감각에 기인하여 패브릭이라는 소재가 가진 불완전하면서도 가장 완전한 찰나의 순간을 포착해 보고 싶었다. 화면 위 펼쳐지는 모든 일체의 행위는 형체 없는 우리 내면의 세계와 형질적으로 드러나는 외면 세계를 이어주는 유동적인 역할을 담당하고 있다. 빛을 담은 순백의 실루엣은 다양한 톤과 표정으로 감상자에게 직관적이고도 색다른 감정을 전달하고자 한다." - 육건우

Additional fees may apply for unique delivery circumstances such as no-elevator (walk-up) buildings, ladder truck requirements, etc.

Parcel delivery is only available for select items at a fee of KRW 5,000 (KRW 10,000 for remote regions or Jeju Island.) Parcel delivery may not be available depending on the weight and value of item(s).
Luxury goods and musical instruments must be collected in person.
For in-person pickups, please contact your specialist by 5 pm of the day before to reserve pickup. (For weekends and holidays, pickup must be reserved by Friday or the last prior business day.)
